West Carleton Softball Hosting a Springboard Skills Clinic

Spreading the word on softball from the western side of Ottawa!

West Carleton will be hosting a Springboard skill clinic on April 26th at the Stonecrest Elementary School in Woodland (near Constance Bay). This is an excellent opportunity for all the youth in the area to work on their mechanics, and get some extra practice in with highly experienced coaches and trainers!

In conjunction with Ontario Amateur Softball Association, West Carleton softball will be charging $15/child, which includes a t-shirt and softball.

Instructors from CANpitch will be in attendance, along with several players from the Greater Ottawa Fastball League (GOFL). Further, a few of the women from uOttawa's Gee Gee's will be providing their expertise - a great chance for our young ladies to see their roles models in action. Hopefully, this clinic will build on last year's phenomenal success!

Instructors will also be working with the kids to improve their fielding, throwing, catching, and pitching.

Younger kids (8-12) will be in the morning / Olderkids (13-16) will be in the afternoon.

To register, visit http://oasa.ca/Springboard_1.htm and choose the "Woodlawn" location.
